Svoimi Slovami Cultural Center is delighted to announce that, as in previous years, our foundation is supporting the International LitFest Festival, taking place April 24–26 in Cupertino.
Now, in its fourth consecutive year, the festival has once again become a magnet for some of the most dynamic and compelling voices in contemporary literature, while welcoming our many guests from throughout California and beyond.
As a reminder, LitFest is an annual literary and discussion forum for children and adults that brings together renowned writers, poets, and literary critics from Europe and America.
Inspired by the success of last year’s festival, our foundation is once again participating as a sponsor and co-organizer. We are especially excited to welcome writer Anna Anisimova, along with beloved children’s authors Mari Anatol, Anastasiia Pikina, Yulia Aslanova, Kseniya Sneg, and Yekaterina O'Neil, who will present her debut book “Woe from Wit”— all about children: talented, unusual, and wonderful.
This year’s festival offers a rich and engaging program, including:
· Programs for teens
· A book club for adults
· An interactive performance for young children
· Meetings with authors
· Creative workshops — including a culinary workshop
· The “365 Books” bookshop
· A literary café
Continuing a cherished tradition, the festival will also feature a children’s competition for short stories, book reviews, and illustrations.
On Saturday, April 25, the Writers’ Fair was held to great success, and on Sunday, April 26, a special children’s theater performance and hands-on workshops will take place.
The full festival program is available on the Svoimi Slovami School website: https://svoimislovami.com/classes/litfest2026/
And just as we said last year, we say again with confidence: This is an event you can’t miss!
